Where's the snow!? We're just around the corner from Christmas, and we haven't had a meaningful snowfall yet here in Traverse City. Snow is back (with a vengeance)- time to ski! The great New Years melt-off of 2010/11 has come and gone, and now we're back to a winter wonderland. It's cold but beautiful, and great for winter fun. Downhill skiing has been great at Crystal Mountain Resort. Why I support the extension and expansion of the Home Buyer Tax Credit First, this is a tax credit, not a cash payment. It's unlike a bailout to a bank, or even Cash for Clunkers where we as citizens wrote checks to take serviceable vehicles off the road.
